Vegan Beet Chips Recipe

Beets are also good for keeping blood pressure low.

A study by UK researchers published in 2010 found that the nitrate in beetroot may lower blood pressure and help fight heart disease (2).

Beetroot, known as a superfood because of its high nutritional content, contains nutrients such as potassium, magnesium, iron, vitamins A, B6, and C, folic acid, protein, and antioxidants.

I suggest you try my easy-to-cook beet chips recipe. It takes around 25 minutes to prepare and cook, and I can guarantee that it will be enjoyed by the whole family as a yummy savory snack!

Ingredients:

  • 1 beetroot,washed and peeled1 beetroot, washed and peeled
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Turmeric

Cooking Directions:

  1. Please preheat your oven to 200 degrees.

2. Slice beetroot into rounds, and if you like crispy chips, thinly slice the rounds.

3. Drizzle olive oil in the bottom of an ovenproof baking pan.

4. Add the beetroots to the pan and toss in the oil by shaking the pan or turning it over with a wooden spoon or spatula.

5. Spread the beetroot in a single layer across the pan.

6. Salt and pepper to taste

7. Toss beetroot in turmeric until well-coated.

8. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Cooking time may be shorter depending on how thinly the rounds are sliced.

Serve these on the side with your favorite vegan burger.
